If you say you can't...you won't.

So what's new?  I’m a mid 20's male starting his own blog.  Pretty typical for my kind I assume -- I'll go with 65%.  Initially, I struggled with what I wanted to blog about.  I thought it probably needed to be something riveting, original, and out-side the box (or bun for that matter).  But, with there being millions of people blogging out there I suspect there is no room for innovation.

A friend once told me “t-Mo, I think there is a constant rock show going on in your head.”  When I thought about that I found it to be true.  I’m a pretty random dude.  I love to quote movies, study sports, sing songs, and say classic quotes during random situations that never really fit.  A lot of different stuff is going on in my dome, so when I thought about that I figured I’ll try and keep it random because that seems to be my niche.  However, to keep myself modest, I’m going to, every-once-in-awhile, try and write about stuff out of my comfort zone.

I’ll give “props” to my favorite things during the week and “damns” to stuff not so cool.

“Props” (thus far)
-          My fiancée:  She’s amazing – cooked me some bomb chili today while I was home sick.  Love that girl.
-          Chiefs: One game closer to the playoffs makes this kid happy.
-          Rumors Steak House – Lee’s Summit, Mo:  Went for the Chiefs game.  Awesome food, crowd and drink specials :: 1.75 drafts, 2.00 wells, 1/2 Apps.

“Damns”
-          Work:  Tough time of the year getting people to go to school.  I’m also getting bored talking on the phone all day – ask My fiancée – it’s not a favorite thing for me to do.
-          Sports fans in general:  A lot of negativity about the Royals trade from this weekend with not a lot of homework being done on it.  People should follow my thoughts here – if you’re not religious – don’t talk religion. If you’re not a politician – don’t talk politics.  You get my drift??
-          My immune system:  This is normally a props because I haven’t been sick in 2+ years, but today it got the best of me.

What am I looking forward to in 2011?
-Wedding
- Getting the last 30lbs off
- Finding a career path.
